Our architectural firm and multi-disciplinary team of sub-consultants
provided design and are currently providing the contract
administration for the new Coaldale detachment project, a 2,403
square metre, single-storey, new construction building near a
stormwater retention pond in a residential area off the main high-way.
The building contains 5 cells and the majority of the building is
office space. The building allows for future growth as well as updating
provisions for newer technology being used by staff today and in the future.
Coaldale was not a LEED® project but was designed based on smart
construction methods to reduce energy consumption, reduce
waste of materials, reduce water consumption, increase air quality
and utilize the site wisely to standards set up for the Canada Green
Building Council’s LEED® Standard.
